Jolly Phonics Course Content:

Jolly Literacy (Grammar) Course Content:
1. Building strong literacy skills and how to ‘bring it all together’.
2. Extending phonics and Jolly Grammar book 1-3.
3. Grammar songs, games and activities.
4. Beginning written expression strategies.
5. Successful spelling tips and hints.
6. Stages of reading and comprehension strategies.
7. Using picture books to teach comprehension and as models for writing.

Who Should Attend? The courses are designed for parents, educators, teachers, school headmasters, native and non-native speakers of English to teach phonics to young learners and enables them to become successful readers and writers.

Trainer Mr. Loch Chapple

Mr. Loch Chapple is a qualified and experienced instructor who is known for his neutral accent, lively demeanor, and insightful experience. He has been presenting Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar workshops throughout Thailand, Myanmar and neighboring countries. His designs for hands on workshops are well known for placing participants in the position of students, providing step-by-step, field tested guidance for problems common in the learning environment, and giving participants multiple opportunities to practice each skill in the seminar. These are the essential teaching strategies for teaching young learners with a progressive and proven methodology.

Many of Mr. Chapple's students who speak virtually no English whatsoever, make impressive progress under his tutelage.

He takes pride in the success of students that may have struggled at first. He believes that no student need be left behind.

In addition to being a certified Jolly Phonics and Grammar professional trainer, Mr. Chapple has his extensive knowledge and experience by teaching primary school grades as well as training teachers at both private and international schools throughout Thailand and neighboring countries.

Jolly Kids Books' (JKB) Policy on Refunds/Postponements for Workshops are non-negotiable and as follows:

1. If you cancel 45 days prior to the start date you will be refunded 100% of fees paid.

2. If you cancel 30 days before the start date you will be refunded 50% of fees paid.

3. If you postpone 35 days prior to the next session it free of charge. if you postpone less than 20 days you will be charged 2500 Thai Baht per time, per person.

4. If you postpone (once) then you decide to cancel your enrollment you forfeit your refund.

To be clear, you have no outstanding credit with JKB to purchase items or services if you postpone and cancel.

*In case of a workshop session booked out of Thailand, if you cancel the session at any time you forfeit your refund as well, you have no outstanding credit with JKB to purchase items or services. This policy is to prevent fraudulent abuse of our goods and services.
